August began with our Family Reunion Olympics. My kids were looking forward to this day for months. The night before the reunion they couldn't sleep because the day was finally here. We had cousin, aunts, uncles, Grandpa Brown. We played games and learn fun things about each other. I will need to do another post just about the reunion.
Quinton and Isaac went to 4-h lego camp. They had a great time. There was a funny thing that happened. 4-h called us to remind us about camp and tell us not to bring lunch, lunch would be provided. When I picked up the boys that first day they told me they got 1 del taco 50 cent taco. I laughed about that for days. 1 taco isn't even a snack for them, when we eat tacos they 4 or 5 tacos each.
We cleaned the church one Saturday. It was fun, working together.
Homeschool not back to school pool party was fun. We signed up Quinton, Isaac, and Levi for soccer. None of them are on the same team and they all practice at different times and places. Levi is loving soccer and is the only to have a game in August. He had a big smile on his face.
After the family reunion Levi started running every day. He runs every morning.
We have a great garden this year: corn, tomatoes, green beans, jalepenos, zucchini, yellow squash, cucumbers, pumpkins, cantelope, watermelon. We've already done some canning. We go out every day to look for squash bugs and eggs.
